I am really liking this game! Cookies aren't that hard to obtain anymore, the seasons award more of those exclusive coins, there is a bit more vocal action from the characters (it makes them feel more real), and I like the idea of "hard levels" being their own thing. Two things I would change however is how many stars you have to pay to complete something because 2 stars for each individual jam stain is ridiculous, and the difficulty escalation is still a bit weird at times.

It's a fun game on the surface. There are a lot of cute characters and the concept is your basic Candy Crush experience. However, it becomes clear early that you need to spend money to proceed after a time. An unfortunate pitfall a lot of these games have, but it's not very rewarding to pass through levels. Some levels require power-ups and extra turns. The gacha system is the most unrewarding thing of all. You don't get anything on some pulls. When you do get something, it is usually useless.

I love the characters and all, obviously, and the art and story are all adorable. I love cookie run and all, but this is a nightmare. For several levels, specifically between 70-100, I got stuck and have had to do them up to 20 times. 95 pretty much isn't possible without power ups, and 90 is hell. The difficulty spikes in this game are infuriating. I love the game, but I can't keep playing if it's not even playable without paying to win.
